Chant of Concentration and capping
Chant of Concentration (Paragon):
Basically it says that the next skill used by allies (Ghostly =also ally) can't be disrupted.
->
1. Make a Paragon/Ele
2. Take some sprintskills
3. Take ward of stability
4. take chant of concentration
Run Chant Cap.

It works, we did it.
It's actually Song of Concentration, but another overpowered skill. Should be elite imho.

I hope A-net does`nt totally nerf it. Paragons should have at least a couple of things going for them imo.

It works. We used it to cap altars several times during this weekend. Ward of stability+song of concentration=cap.
I guess its a counter to the seeking arrows rangers. I dont think it needs a nerf, there are ways to counter it. Like bodyblocking ghostly.

Yea i think i remember the skill Song Of Concentration; being a 1-2 second cast time, so it can be interupted, and it also requires addrenaline to use it, 8 addren if i remember correctly.
So not exactly a full counter to seeking arrows rangers, just makes it a little harder for them; more targets to watch.

I know that you cant blackout the ghostly, but in the skill description of PD it says that it interupts and disables THAT skill for x amount of seconds. Now I know whenever PD is used on a rit casting shelter but with mantra of concentration up, it will not interupt him but once it reaches 99% it will click and stop.
I highly doubt it but I will ask if anyone knows if it will do the same to ghostly even with stability+song up.

I'm guessing that PD will not disable the ghost's claim resource skill, no way to know though whether the skill will be disabled or not though. I can confirm that PD goes through mantra of concentration by disabling the skill, but not being able to blackout the ghost just shows that some skills do not perform to the description when the Ghostly Heroes are using "Claim Resouce".

I doubt it does.. because it doesnt disable the skill ... i.e. the ghost can retry capping as soon as you interupt with pd.

I have never tried blacking out a ghost. If it doesn't work, neither does PD.

haven't tried that forever, but from what I remember, it won't stop the current claim but he won't restart the next claim until the blackout comes off him

capping has tactics? this skill actually helps normal players because they can actually win hoh since nobody can interrupt their ghosts for an hour, it would also stop people from holding for a long time and give others a chance to win hoh.

We could also remove the need of being skilled to win a battle and let every match be decided by rolling dices.

Bad players still won't cap anymore than usual with it. Since any actualy good players would interrupt Song of Concentration. Or just use Blackout on the guy who carrys it, since it costs 8 adrenaline, my guess is that even a 4 second blackout on a ranger could keep it down in most cases...
Plus, there's still bodyblocking the hero, or just killing the hero, or just killing the guy with Song of Concentration. Sure, it'll change how the Hall of Heroes map is played, but it won't let any total scrubs win/hold any more than usual, except against other total scrubs.

Amen, but still newbs will win halls just like they do today. Thats the strange thing about Halls, is that there will always be the third factor. For example Yellow team is a really good team with the ability to win and hold halls, and blue team is a very good team, with good holding capacity, and red is a bunch of r3+ iway newbs. Then basically it is GG for the blue team cause they have it won already, especially if red's warrriors will just go up to the altar and bang on the ghost until they think it will drop. Thats the thing, even though yellow team was probably better than blue, they lost due to the newb red iway team. It doesnt have to be iway either Im just making an all so common example.
